Feel Better About Your Voice,
Your Breathing and Your Swallowing
When you’re struggling with your voice, breathing, swallowing, or living with chronic cough, you feel it everywhere, all the time.
Speakers avoid presentations. Athletes dread competitions. Social situations are exhausting and isolation feels inevitable.
Some people arrive here when they notice their voice has become hoarse or strained. Many people find me here after years of specialist appointments. Others come after an injury, illness, or surgery changes the way they speak, breathe, or swallow.
Wherever you are in your journey, we'll work together to understand what's contributing to your symptoms and create a treatment plan that helps you move toward your goals.
My clients know themselves best, and I have treated voice, breathing and swallowing disorders for over 25 years.
Together we find your way back to feeling like yourself.
When Emotions Are Part of the Picture
Living with a voice, breathing, or swallowing condition is challenging. For some, the anxiety, grief and isolation that results is as upsetting as the physical symptoms.
If emotional support becomes an important part of your care, psychotherapy is available as a separate service. Unlike traditional therapists, I’m familiar with your condition and, more importantly, how it is treated. We'll decide together if and when psychotherapy support would be helpful.
You don’t need a referral to get started. You just need to feel like something isn’t right.
How We Work Together
Every person is different. Begin by sending me a message and letting me know what you're hoping to achieve. From there, we'll decide together on the best next step, whether that's booking an appointment, arranging a brief introductory call, or seeking a referral to an ear, nose and throat doctor.
Our sessions are virtual and collaborative. We’ll start by reviewing your history, then assess your symptoms and develop a treatment plan tailored to your goals and lifestyle.
You’ll set the pace and leave sessions with practical tools, and an understanding what we are doing and why.
Progress isn't always linear. Some conditions respond quickly, while others take more time. Throughout the process, we'll pay attention to how stress, emotions, and your relationship with your body may be influencing recovery.
