Meet Gwen

A woman with brown hair, wearing glasses, smiling, standing against a beige brick wall, dressed in a black blazer, white top, and blue jeans.

As a registered speech-language pathologist and registered psychotherapist I've worked at the intersection of voice, breath, and emotional wellbeing for over 25 years.

The deeper I went into voice rehabilitation working in a specialized voice clinic, one thing became clear: a diagnosis explains what is happening physically. It rarely captures the toll it takes.

That understanding led me to become a Gestalt psychotherapist, and then an Advanced SOMA Breath instructor.

By the end of our first session, I want you to feel two things: you are not alone, and this is one moment in your big, beautiful life.

Out of Office

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me outdoors, deepening my yoga practice, learning to DJ, or following my curiosity. The dancing with dumbbells story is one I'll save for when we meet.

Person on a beach during sunset, wearing headphones, a black baseball cap, a white sleeveless shirt under brown overalls, with one arm raised making a peace sign

Beach, bass and breath… my favourite start to the day.
